We value your privacy. Our Privacy Policy explains how Crane Patents, LLC (sometimes referred to herein as “we”,“us” or “our") collects, stores, uses, and discloses your Personal Information (as further explained below).

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post an updated version on this page, unless another type of notice is required by applicable law or contractual agreement. By continuing to use our Services (as defined below) or providing us with Personal Information after we have posted an updated Privacy Policy, or notified you by other means, you consent to the revised Privacy Policy.

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT.

We collect information that (i) you either directly provide to us, or (ii) is obtained automatically when you are visiting our website or using our offerings (“Services”). Alone or in combination with other information in our possession, such information could be used to identify you (“Personal Information”).

  • Account Information. In the process of creating a login account for you to use the Services, we may collect Personal Information, such as your name and email address.
  • Communications With Us. We currently do not use such collected log data.
  • Usage Data. We have also developed our Services to collect information about how you use our Services, such as the types of features you are using and the actions you take, dates and times of access, information about the device you are using to access our Services and the like.

DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION.

We may share your Personal Information with third parties without further notice to you, unless required by the law, including but not limited to the scenarios below:

Service Providers: We may share your Personal Information with our third-party service providers, vendors and subprocessors that assist us with the provision of our Services. This includes service providers, vendors and subprocessors that provide us with IT support, hosting, payment processing, customer service, and related services. An up-to-date list of our subprocessors is available at our trust center. Please contact us if you would like prior notice of changes to our subprocessors.

Business Partners: We may share your Personal Information with business partners to provide you with an offering involving them. We may also share your personal information with business partners with whom we jointly offer products or services.

Business Transfers: If we are involved in strategic transactions, reorganization, bankruptcy, receivership, or transition of service to another provider, your Personal Information and other information may be shared in the diligence process with counterparties and others assisting with the Transaction and transferred to a successor as part of such a transaction along with other assets.

Our website currently does not respond to “Do Not Track” (“DNT”) signals and operates as described in this Privacy Policy whether or not a DNT signal is received.

SECURITY. We take reasonable and appropriate steps to protect your Personal Information to prevent loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your Personal Information which may include: physical access controls, encryption, intrusion detection and network monitoring depending on the nature of the information and the scope of processing. Our staff who may have access to your information are required to keep that information confidential.

DATA RETENTION AND DELETION. We retain your Personal Information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which we collected it, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. We may also retain your Personal Information for legitimate business interests, such as to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain our records. When we no longer need your Personal Information, we will delete it or anonymize it in accordance with our data retention policies and applicable laws, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your Personal Information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing, until deletion is possible.

NO CHILDREN. Our websites and services are not directed to anyone under the age of 16. Crane Patents does not knowingly collect Personal Information from anyone under the age of 16.
